The new-look frames
The new-look frames
Despite the downward turn in the economy, art lovers at Brighton were still prepared to spend for images that they couldn't live without.

I was delighted with the stand and how the new work looked in the new frames. These are a lighter putty-grey range that tone well with the graphic nature of the images.

It was really interesting to note that about 80% of visitors to the stand thought the new work was a series of etchings. It was quite enjoyable explaining that, no... they were actually photos and that a good quantity of them had been taken by moonlight.

In all it was a very good event with good sales and a great opportunity to talk to other artists and make new contacts.
